CHOOSING ENDURANCE
She decided to pursue endurance over other disciplines because of her father's influence, as well as her own personal preference. "I love to be outside with the horses. Dressage is the basic for each horse, which is very important to me, but I get bored riding loops in an arena. Even the dressage I teach them mostly in the forest. I liked eventing too, but as my family was already in endurance it made more sense to focus on that. What I love about endurance is the fact that it's more than just riding the horse. In 2009 she completed a master's degree in accounting and finance at the Free University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
